Bringing together the traditional sounds of roots reggae, dub and dancehall, Highline is an energetic band dedicated to creating a truly authentic reggae sound. The band members come from diverse musical backgrounds, and together now make their own infectious brand of reggae music. Thumping bass-lines, hard hitting drum beats, jabbing horn lines and soaring vocal harmonies combine with the edgy, rapid-fire vocals of Mr. Brown will surely get you off your feet and dancing.

The band is composed of 4 very seasoned players featuring Carla Vanessa on lead vocals. They play a mix of mostly modern songs, with handful of original and classic tunes. Some of the artists we cover include: Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Cee Lo Green, Gnarls Barkley, Jason Mraz, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Duffy, Cyndi Lauper, Martina McBride, Sheryl Crow, Lady Antebellum, Jane’s Addiction, U2, Boston, and Cream among so many others.

Join us on the patio of Loveland Basin on Saturday, April 20th for après ski with live music from Rebel Tongue.  Rebel Tongue seamlessly weaves Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz and Soul music into a live and intense array of powerful songwriting that leaves you eager for more. Comprised of versatile artists they easily respond to the call of any venue and set the stage ablaze!!!

The band has recently released their debut album titled “Movin' On".The album blends conscious rapid fire lyrics with funk, jazz and a twist of soul. On this seven track album, which took a little over a year to complete, they are honored to have such special guests as, LIGE CURRY (Parliament-Funkadelic), RICK GARDNER (RubberHorn/Bootsy's Rubber Band/Marvin Gaye), and DANNY BEDROSIAN (Parliament -Funkadelic/Secret Army). The band is also debuting their first music video from the song, "Tell Them Why", which stems from a war laden politically driven atmosphere. Rebel Tongue is a refreshing, high intensity band that will bring the fire at any time! The new album “Movin' On" will definitely earn a permanent place in your favorite play list!

Loveland Ski Area hosts the 12th annual Corn Harvest benefit ski party for the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.    The Colorado Avalanche Information Center plays a much bigger role in your skiing safety than you might think.  Not only is this organization an invaluable source for backcountry travelers, but anyone who has driven on I-70 have the CIAC to thank in part for their safe travels along this highway. Come show your support for this amazing organization.  Packages that include lift ticket, lunch, New Belgium Beer, raffle and donation will be available.  A great Day of skiing all for a good cause.  Save the dates and stay tuned for package pricing information.

Join us on the patio of Loveland Basin on Saturday, April 27th for après ski with live music from Rapid Grass.  Resident musician Mark Morris returns with his bluegrass band Rapid Grass.  The founders and headliners of the Clear Creek Rapid Grass Music Festival join us on the Basin Patio in support of the Corn Harvest Benefit Ski Party.

Love Park celebrates the end of an amazing season with a Last Chance Rail Jam!  Join us at the base of the Basin and get ready to strut you stuff for a chance to win some amazing prizes.  This rail jam is free and open to all ages, abilities, and disciplines.  Register the morning of at the base of the Basin between 9am - 11.  Rail Jam starts at 1pm.
