Subaru's Master the Mountain
Subaru has created an event weekend dedicated to promoting a safe and enjoyable snowrider environment. Subaru’s Master of The Mountain events include free mini-lessons in the Subaru Learning Lane, Nordica demos and an insider’s look at the operations of the National Ski Patrol with an avalanche awareness and beacon training session. Free goodies and prizes surround the event as a Subaru command post is set up at the base of the mountain complete with free popcorn, hot chocolate and coffee. The first 100 Subaru drivers to enter the parking lot receive VIP treatment with front row parking right next to Lift 1. This promises to be a weekend you won’t want to miss. Participation is free to all skiers and snowboarders with a valid lift ticket.

Join in the fun! This popular program is offered to all abilities on select dates throughout the season.  Participants are divided accordingly based on skill and quality telemark gear can be rented at The Loveland Adventure Center if needed.  Program includes: 2 ½ Hour Clinic and Full Day Lift Ticket. COSMIC Series Randonnee Ski Race

Loveland Hosts the COSMIC Series Randonnee Ski Race, a traditional style ski mountaineering race that involves multiple ascents and descents. There will be a recreational route, with about 2,500 feet of climbing and an advanced course with about 4,500 feet of climbing open to telemarkers, alpinists and snowboarders alike. Come test your ability and your chance to advance to the finals in this series.

Mountain Dew's Vertical Challenge

The Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge is a fun, FREE, ski and snowboard Giant Slalom race and rail jam where participants compete for Gold, Silver & Bronze medals awarded in 30 categories. In addition to the race there is a variety of entertainment on the plaza with games, contests and trivia. A live DJ and lots of FREE Mountain Dew rounds out the full day of festivities. Fine tune your skills and explore Loveland's most challenging terrain with one of our professional, experienced instructors. Designed for advanced - expert skiers level 7 thru 9. Offered select Sundays throughout the season. Advanced reservations are required. Program registers at Loveland Basin Ski School KIOSK, located in the upstairs restaurant area, next to the deli. Love Park's 5th Annual Vert Alert - Session #1

The Love Park is gearing up to Host the 5th Annual Vert Alert Terrain Park Competition again this March and April. Think you got the skills? Come out and show us what you've got in this amateur slopestyle competition. The park is undergoing a makeover especially for these events and all ages and abilities are invited to participate. A $20 registration fee gets you into the comp, lunch from Wahoo's Fish Taco and Mountain Dew, and an event t-shirt; not to mention the chance to win some of the $10,000 in prizes.

12th Annual 3-Pin Grin Telemark Festival

The 3-Pin Grin is a traditional event that brings out some of the best local telemark skiers from the Front Range and Summit County to compete. In addition to the race there will be live music on the plaza, as well as great prizes for top finishers.

Loveland Ski Area Digital Photo Contest  -  07-08 Season
