Give your little snowrider the chance to love Loveland. Let them learn at our Ski & Ride School, where we have an expert staff of instructors dedicated to teaching children exclusively. We’ll help build their skills and confidence, and give them a progress card to share with you outlining their accomplishments.
PARENTS: You must provide your child with goggles or sunglasses, waterproof gloves, waterproof snow pants, jacket, sunscreen and hat. These items may be rented or purchased in the slope-side Sport Shop at Loveland Valley.
*Helmets are strongly encouraged and rentals are available for $5.
Ages 4-5 (Levels 1-7, skiing only)
We introduce your young children to skiing in a positive and encouraging environment. Just the right amount of skiing and tons of fun. Children are grouped by age and ability.
*This popular program requires a reservation, as space is limited. There is a $10 non refundable deposit required.
Ages 6-14 (Levels 1-9, skiing & snowboarding)
We want your child to have a positive experience with other children of similar ability. This class separates groups by age and ability for the safety, fun and learning of all. Skiers and riders in Levels 4 and above may ski or snowboard with their class at Loveland Basin once abilities have been confirmed.
- Ski & Ride School runs Mid/Late November to the end of the season.
- Full-day lessons are from 10:00am to 3:30pm. Please register between 8:00am and 9:00am at the Loveland Valley Ski & Ride School sales office.
Skiers (Age 4-14) Snowboarders (Age 6-14) 2009-2010 Prices:
- Full-day lesson, lift ticket and lunch - $91.00
- Full-day lesson, lift ticket, equipment rental and lunch - $96.00
